Other NZ Stamp Issues
While much attention of the great NZ collections has been focused on the FFQ Chalons of 1855 - 1873, NZ has a lot more to offer historians and collectors both with its other issues.
The Sideface Queens, 1898 pictorials depicting NZ's beauty in imagery, a large range of other definitives and commemorative stamps, Royals and a comprehensive back of book make NZ philately an amazing collection journey.
Add to that some mystique with the 1949 Royal visit Vanguard stamp and controversy such as the 2006 Kapa Haka issue, multiple errors both human and technical alike such as the Teddy Bear Health stamps and missing colours, and finally good old Kiwi ingenuity that led to the 'bisect' 1/- FFQ stamps of Otago just to name a few, and you've got a lot of interest.
The following pages highlight NZ stamps and their story. Enjoy!
